Even if you're not the sort to splash the cash to buy your dream bike, you eventually end up with nice bikes just from the hand me downs.

My last race bike was a 2007, just bought the 2014 version for a steal. So my winter hack is smashing. I like that.

You remember oval chainrings from the first time round (waits for someone to post a picture from the 1920's or earlier)

Plenty of bits and bobs and the tools.

I'm only a newby ๐Ÿ™
A mere 27 years ( I only count from when it became an obsession).
Might finally get out of the 'industry' after 11 years.
I'll catch up eventually.

OP will you get proper mudgaurds on it?

I thought you'd be the sort to prioritise important stuff like this.

Well funnily I've given right up on guards, after all these years. Used to bang on about using them, just don't mind getting wet now, what with all the techy clothing that's about.........maybe an ass saver though.

I still have my old Raleigh racer from the 70's. I'm in the process of turning it in to a single speed town bike. The gears are junk anyway.
