Ive been looking at the HX1 hardtail, looks very nice, can any one shed some light on what there like ??
Ive had a cove stiffee and a chameleon in the past, the chamy killed me after a couple of hrs
Craig, you might struggle to find much info on the HX1 as i have only sold a handfull in the UK.
The frame is a good all-rounder, nice and relaxed without being to slack. Having owned a Chamy i would say the HX1 is not as harsh to ride, but it is a beefy Alu frame so is pretty stiff.
I you fancy need any more info drop me a mail.
I think you should look at steel HT's? Or if you liked your Cham....a Blur4x.
I'm planning to pick up an HX1 at the weekend, I will report back when I've got it built up and ridden.
Just finished building mine. No photos yet and only done the commute to work twice so far. Hopefully get a proper ride at the weekend. First impressions are great. Service and communication from Si was brilliant if you are looking to buy. I'll post more feedback on the bike once its been out in the mud!
I will have the demo HX1 built soon, just waiting on a set of forks!
