[Closed] Tell me about 10 speed SRAM rear mechs

Hi all,

Bit out of the loop with bike components. I need to replace the rear mech on my mates bike (don't ask...). It's a 10 speed SRAM X5, with an X5 shifter, and he's running it with 2 front rings.

I would have previously gone for an X9 but looks like they are no longer available - GX looks like the rough equivalent? e.g. SRAM GX Type 2.1 10 Speed Rear Mech What does the 2.1 refer to? For a dual ring set up, is a medium cage OK? (I've only had a single ring up front for ages). Maybe an X7 would be fine actually, but they're not available either right..?

On a related note, anyone selling something suitable (X7, X9, GX)?
