Help.

An hour of furious Googling yields no answers. Maybe my Google-Fu is weak...

Do Shimano 105 brake/shifter levers pull enough cable for cantilever brakes?

Thanks in advance...

Yes

Road lever brakes work with canti and mini v brakes (or even v brakes with a travel adjuster thing)

If you are thinking something must be wrong because they are not very good compared to you MTB disc brakes then no, there is nothing wrong.

They don't have the stopping power but do have modulation to be able to stop on off road surfaces without locking the wheels up.

Thanks Kerly.

I'm already running cantis on my Jake the Snake, so I know they're weak compared to my hydraulic discs.

Just planning to upgrade it to 10 speed so I need shifters that will work with the brakes (finances won't stretch to a new GnarRoad bike).
