Would have liked to see Froome in KOM - but Quintana will certainly deserve it.

Was kind of hoping Froome might celebrate a bit more - does he feel he's lost a jersey rather than winning one?

I had to check it wasn't Realman with his manlove posting that. Since when has Sagan been serious competition to Cav in a straight sprint?

Even I have to admit it's either going to be Kittel, Greipel, or Cav..

Sagan is always an outside favourite though.

If they dont get the lead out perfect tomorrow I think Kittel will get it.

Not exactly a Champs Élysées finish though.

Classic stuff today. Would have been an epic win for Richie Froome (if you watch ITV), but it's fitting that Quintana got it - he deserved it.

Tough day ahead for Cav tomorrow. Can he do it again? Or is Kittel gonna wee on his chips? I'll be watching through the gaps in my fingers...

Froome did look spent. Suspect it was relief more than disappointment at missing out on polkadots. Says something when we expect him, with a 5 min coushin in yellow, to go out and win the stage.

Interesting Tour tactics by sky though to effectively go out and win it on the first mountain finish (up Ax 3). Usually end up waiting till the last couple of hard stages to see any GC attacking in recent years. Increasingly felt like Froome was just hanging on in the last few stages as Quintana and Purito got stronger.

Edit: almost forgot... 3 stage wins, some great attacking riding, yellow jersey... chapeau Christopher Froome 🙂

Really liked Quintana's ride there. Deserves every jersey he gets.

Well done Chris Froome , I wasn't a major fan before but would have to say this tears tdf has been better than last . Froome attacked more than Wiggins and Quinatana has been the star of the show for me. Great work from Porte and bravery from Geraint Thomas.

Good race.

You could almost say it's like Armstrong 😈

You could almost say it's like Armstrong

"I see Sky's in blue, Sagan's in Green"
"Froome's won the Tour, Contador's a has been"
"And I think to myself, what a wonderful world"....
