how do you fit these properly so they work...ive never had one before.. how do they work.......not got one yet but just wondering are they any good.....

Fit receiver to fork leg.
Fit magnet to spoke so it passes the correct point on the receiver.
Fit computer to handlebars/stem.
Enter wheel size into computer.
Ride.

Avoided a computer for years! Eventually succumbed to one on the road bike but no way on the mtb, that remains the "fun machine" No techno=more fun 😉
