My trusty Giant XtC, got moved over onto a trance frame and revelations about a year and half ago now, it didnt take long before the XtC was back as a SS, and an awesome SS at that too.
42:16 on the road, 32:18 in the mud, 15 mins spannering and its perfect for anything 😀
my recent clicky happy spending combined with all this nicheness on STW is making me wonder, what would it be like as a 69er.
Ive fancied a rigid carbon fork for it for a while, ut figure, if im going to go down that route, i might as well do it properly and get a 29er wheel (as this should help adjust for the loss of 105mm of travel)
better both on and off road?
what fork?

generic long legged fork?
would be disk specific, so brake mounts are not a concern
anyone here done similar (im sure you have, question is more who i suppose)
