<first world problem>

so, I've been looking at a Cotic Solaris as a hardtail for long jaunts, winter mudplugging and a spot of bikepacking.

Thing is, I've already got a Rocky Mountain Blizzard that is in perfectly good condition (bit of a dent in the top tube, but nothing that a steel frame can't cope with) which I hardly ever ride.

Should I 'upgrade' to clown wheels and shiny paint, or not bother?

Dave

Bah, I got a small pay rise and used that to justify a Coptic before
Then I decided a needed a whole new Slx drivetrain..
£700+ justified by 6% pay rise.
Just do it.

If I asked that question I wouldn't have 10 bikes in the garages. The problem is my Scalpel 29er is such a nice bike I haven't ridden anything else.

I have 10 bikes in my garage... and there are 2 of them that I'm thinking of replacing*; the blizzard (replace with solaris??) and my 575 (replace with a blur TRc??)... seems extravagant (probably because it is!), hence the question 🙂

Dave

* by replace, I mean "buy another bike that does the same job, but don't actually get rid of the old one, just move it to a different part of the garage"
