Hello there, (sorry if there's already a thread, my search didn't find it)

Got a set of '07 Talas 32 RL in need of a little TLC. Not sure I am up to a full service, but is there a wiper and seal reaplcement and oil top-up I could be doing that would help?

How much work is this, and how difficult? And as I can get a service for about £80-ish, is it even worth the ball-ache to do it?

Any advice very gratefully received,

Alex

Or go to the fox site where they have the very guide you need. Don't **** about with the talas bits, looks like a right pain!

The whole thing is looking like a pain to me. As they've not been serviced at all since new, I'm starting to think maybe Mojo will be getting a call. That's my build budget out the window 🙁

So anybody got experience of their fork servicing? How long does it usually take?

Cheers,

A

It's not difficult..... spend a little time on it and follow the instructions. You'll end up saving a lot of money and days off the trails.

Chickened out and sent 'em off. Surely they need serviceing after 2 years of having nothing done, and that will include the seals and wipers. Although next time I'll do that bit, which strikes me as more the sort of maintenance I should be doing. Got the Enduro Seals pdf saved ready.

At the moment too bust struggling with brakes that won't bleed. Aaargh!

cheers folks,

Alex
