SJS cycles normally have good stock.

You want a 40T middle for a two ring set up not an outer, you mount it in the middle ring position with short chain ring bolts, just checked SJS and they have what you need.

Hi

I bought that combo from that German place - Starbike I think. that was 3 months ago and no-where in the UK (including Chickens) had any in stock.

I thought the larger chain ring was an outer but located in the middle position?
Don't you need the shift pins etc of the outer chain ring?

Hi Hornet600, Mike from Elmys. If you're going for XTR M970 cranks you'll need 4xM8 spacers, 2mm wide. Check out Pro Bolts.
