Looking at a frame that comes with a T47 BB shell.
In theory it all sounds good, all the benefits of a pressfit shell (stiffness, larger welding area) but the ease-of-living-with-ness of a threaded shell.
Who is the go-to manufacturer for a BB though? Is it a waste to have all that extra space to play with and then just stick in a 24mm Shimano axle, should I consider a 30mm chainset like a Praxis?
Is unlikely to be a deal breaker but I tend to treat any new standard with suspicion! 😎
