I am hoping to build a good strong pair of wheels arounnd proII hubs.
Any view of the syncros - perhpas the 25's?

I have the 23s (on Pro2) on my Meta. They're white, round and haven't bent or broken.
same here, pro IIs on 23s on my enduro, taken a battering at the wall and skyline, still true, and built by me! Yay!
Got white 28s' on hope hubs no problems
Nearly bought some 28's last year, Stiff/Jungle were out of stock as they had to redesign the 28's due to rim failures, this was echoed by my LBS who had seen a few with cracks in them.
Bought Halo Freedoms in the end, although also considered Sun Equalizers, would imagine the newer 28's are fine, but can vouch for the Halo's.

IIRC Some Halo and Syncros rims are pretty much the same..?
Don't think the Freedom's are similar to any Syncros?
