Hi guys and girls , few of us are planning on a days riding at swinley forest or Cannock on Thursday 27th December , anyone got any heads up on the conditions at each please ? They are both same drive away so need to decide based on trail conditions .

A week ago Swinley was running quite nicely. I expect this will no longer be the case.
The trail center trails at Cannock will be fine apart from some puddles. There is only ever small patches of real mud there, it's never boggy like bridal ways are. In fact thinking of going on the 27th myself as I'm pretty sure it's the most rideable place in the midlands at the moment.

Swinley is a swamp - seriously cut up with many closures due to trail building.
Steer clear until it opens in April.
