I’m after some sweeping handlebars for my mountain bike tandem for the front, my wife will be using it and needs to try and be as up right as possible.

What recommendations is there, Iv got to fit a swytch battery back to the bars also

Depends how swept you want them, I recently switched from Jones loops (45°, too much) to Ritchey Kyote (27°) which feel perfect for both cruising and mild technical riding. They also have quite a bit of rise which makes them nice for gettig a relaxed position. They are quite wide, but easy to trim down if you need.

I have the Kyoto bars and love them. A really nice compromise i did take 4 inches off the width

I think by the looks of things they can’t be oversized either

Those Kyote look perfect for my spangled wrists and my commuter bike.

I have the kyote's and really like them. I'd love them to make a carbon version for a bit of weight saving. I'm using them on a rigid bike where they really help with wrist pain combined with Ergon grips.  I've also got Geoff's that I  really like.

I spent many years riding Mary's, moved to Geoff's, and now occupy the middle ground on the OGs currently going cheap. Good cheap baseline: fit a set then take it from there.

If you need more rise and sweep than On-Ones ‘Mary’, try Googling ‘North Road trekking handlebars’ and ‘Beach Cruiser handlebars’.👍

I found my SQlab bars with a 17 deg sweep perfect for me, after using Jones bars.

Also available with a rise IIRC

I've got one of these currently doing nothing. Used it on my a commuter for a year, bought it to keep weight off my shoulder after an op. It worked!

Narrow for a MTB bar, but that's probably a good thing on the back of a tandem?
