Is it easy? As in will the cassette fit on my current wheel (Hope hub with old school QR rear axle) with no modification?

Depends on the freehub - chances are it won't take 11 speed but you could fit a wide range 10 speed cassette and re use your shifter.

Pick your system.....

SRAM GX-XX needs a different freehub - EDIT may be worth doing if like most hope freehubs it's been chewed up

SRAM NX will fit

Shimano will fit

Sunrace do Shimano fit

Pick the range you want from the cassettes available

Chainring/Big Chainring/Small for the range of each cassette

Ah right. Just had a look on Hope website, I could change the freehub body to fit an 11-speed cassette, but that costs money and 2x10 then ends up cheaper.

Or wide range 1x10...

Cheers.

11sp Shimano, SRAM NX and most of the sunraces fit on a standard shimano freehub which is what your hope has

Depending on the range I'd still take 1x10 over 2x10 if the ratios are right.

To clarify, any splined mtb cassette i.e. Not sram XD driver will fit your current freehub without modification.
