I am looking at getting replacement wheel with a Shimano boost hub with micro spline freehub installed. Until such time as I upgrade to 12-speed, is it possible to remove the freehub and replace it with a standard HG freehub?
Not for a Shimano hub, no.

Are you getting the wheel built or off the shelf? If you go with a bitex or novatech hub there is a good chance that you will be able to swap (but you will need to check model) and will be similar price to shimano. Many after market wheels use novatech hubs too so again you could look at them.
Yeah not on a Shimano hub - I do my best to avoid their hubs tbh.
If you went with DT Swiss / Hope you can definitely get both tyres of freehub body you need.
I’d imagine Bitex is the same but I haven’t run those before (I think Ryan Builds Wheels uses them a lot). Novatech is a mixed bag depending on the hub you get as they have so many models.
