Just thought i'd post this in case it is of help to others. I was given a set of 55 tst2 forks for free but they had locked out. After searching the web i found this link tst2 bleed instructions. I followed this and all is well with the forks. Apparently i need to obtain the new cartridge seal to prevent it from happening again from windwave who i will contact in due course. The link also talks of a shim mod to the damper cartridge to provide compression settings which the fork doesn't have at present. My main issue came when i tried to source the shims needed. I contacted mojo, tf and other mtb tuning companies all of which would not sell me what i needed. There are several american companies but postage was silly for a handful of metal discs. Finally however i found MX World based in Rugby and spoke to Jason (MD), who was extremely helpful and I now have the shims winging their way to me as we speak 😀 😀 😀
cool, that mod works really well. So stupid they put a washer on there in the first place.
Cheers for posting the link too, shims are a right mare to get hold of!
