I was looking at replacing some of my pedals (Xpedo MX) as I started to get chronic foot cramp and I saw these on the SS website.
However I noticed in the reviews some people complaining they are very soft, so any users on here used them? As if so did you find the same.
NB: I am not worried about octopus or poor warranty support as I am not going to use a rock to install them, or threaten to burn his warehouse down so I should be OK.
All magnesium pedals are soft. It's the price you pay for keeping them light weight.
They'll be alright unless you frequently hit your pedals off rocks - so depends on where you ride and how you ride.
I have Wellgo MG1 pedals and they've been very good. Taken a few knocks and still in good shape.
I don't remember hitting my pedals much, so I guess I should be fine
Mine have lasted well apart from the paint, which came off very quickly. Structurally they seem sound, the bearings are still good, and I haven't lost any pins yet as I always seem to with V12s
