What are your requirements and priorities?

Platform size, weight, bash resistance etc?

Weight, longevity, ground clearance, grip

I know superstar come out better on these but the Hopes look prettier 🙂

I really hate it when people suggest a different product instead of the two choices but I'm going to have to do it - Look at the new DMR v12 Mag, they're ace.

I've got the Delta's (only the poverty spec alloy ones tho 😉 ) they still spin smoothly after a year or so, light, thin and grippy.
I'd definitely recommend them, even buy the alloy ones and get something else with the difference?

I want the hopes, but the pins are too short and I'm buggered if I'm paying an extra £20 for longer pins on a pair of £100+ pedals.
Big fan of hope, but sometimes they get their pricing really wrong. Throwing in a set of long pins with the pedals and a BB with the chainset would make them so much more competitive.

I've got a set of the delta magnesium Ti evo pedals, I wanted the lightest usuable looking flat pedal I could find.

I've not had them long, so cant comment on longevity, but they're pretty good, thin, lightweight (250g for the pair), grippy.

No problems so far, recommended if you want lightweight.

Yeah the whole short pin thing is really putting me off the Hopes

Leaning towards a set of the Delta Mags in Raw - except they are out of stock

Aren't the Vaults designed for people with clown feet
I think my feet might get a bit lost on them

another alternative in your price range are the specialized Boomslang. Grippiest pedal i've ever owned and super thin

The Hopes are lovely but the pins are just wrong imo, fixable but you shouldn't have to. Are the good pins available to the public now? Last I checked they were just for journos 😕

As much as I love Hope stuff, and tend to go for it wherever possible... The pedals don't seem that great - Too expensive for a not that grippy pedal.

So I'd go for the Superstar. Or even better, DMR Vaults!
