[Closed] Suntour Epixon travel adjust, or any other fork suggestions for 24" kids bike

I'm really struggling to find a set of half decent forks for my sons 24" Orbea for his birthday, having narrowly missed out on a set of RST F1rst on Ebay, and ordering a set of Sids that went back as they were not as advertised, I'm drawing a total blank on options.

Option 1- I found a set of brand new Suntour Epixon, they seem to fit the bill if they can be taken down to 80mm travel but it is unclear if they can, even the information on the Suntour website seems conflicting.

Option 2- Anyone got any leads on either short travel 26" forks or a half decent 24" fork as I'm really struggling to find anything reasonable new or 2nd hand other than a Manitou J Unit which is both expensive and would require a new front wheel and headset to get it to fit, so a non starter.

Not sure if nobody has any idea or if this weird forum bumping thing is still required?

They can be taken as far down as you want to go with enough spacers and it's dead easy to do, 30 minutes tops and that includes making a cuppa to have while you do it. They're really good forks too.

I'd gladly take them if I could find them. The issue is not so much knowing what forks are decent, it's finding any that are available. 24" forks are almost non existent and the usual suspects of good 26" ones for kids bikes (short travel air forks), are like hens teeth at the moment too.

Great thanks, in which case they could be just the ticket!

No worries, give me a shout if you get stuck for spacers, they just use a generic 10mm ID plastic clip-on thing and I've got a few (home made) ones kicking about.

My Suntours have a pin that can be moved to adjust in 10mm increments, they're not exactly the same fork but I could never find mine on their website either!
