looking for suggestions for a new bike, ideally a 29'er full suspension & upto about £3k, probably dont need more than 120mm of travel....
so what do you recommend?
Pyga One Ten would be a great option - 110mm rear, ideal for a 120mm fork.
You could build a very nice Salsa Horsethief or On-One Codeine for that much.
the Pyga one ten looks ace! as does the horsethief - cheers.... further investigation required!

Recommending own bike alert. I've got an Orange 5 29 (Alpine 5) and think it's ace. Prefer it to my mates new Specialized Camber.
Canyon Nerve AL 29.... and save a load of your £3k
rocky mountain element, only 100mm front and rear, but it's the only 29er that I have got on with. There are a few of the carbon 950, as ex demos on ebay for £3k
The Banshee Phantom I rode was very nice.

In normal fashion recommend my own Banshee Prime which I have not even built yet, looks good though :), bit less travel on the phantom which looks good as well. You can easily achieve a decent build for 3k.
