[Closed] Suggest a wet weather tyre

Hi,

I have a Schwable Racing Ralf on the back and a Nobby Nic on the front both came with the bike and in dryish weather then have been good and im happy with them, however in the wet/mud the ralph slips all over as can the nobby on shiney stones.

I entered in a race in the lakes next weekend and will do a few this year so i need to get better tyres to cover potentially bad conditions, soo...

Could someone recommend a tyre around £25-£30 that will grip better in wetter/muddier conditions. Im do XC mainly so dont need to be DH capable. I would blindly buy Kenda Nevagals on what i have seen so far but id welcome others opinions.

Also would people suggest i get a pair, or chuck my grippier Nobby Nic on the back and just get a new front?
