i thought I’d settled on a single bike to consolidate my SSCX and winter road. BUT I realise the Arkrose 3 has an FSA BB/chainset and I need a Shimano chainset for my 4iiii crank arm and 54 chainring on turbo/interval work, and a QR rear end. I need to sort this in the next 7 days.
So, what QR rear Hub Shimano chainset winter/gravel bikes are out there...?
Buy a shitter (but a functioning one) and a cheap shimano chainset. Leave permanently on the turbo

It's 56cm. Cable discs unfortunately (spyres) and cheapy drivetrain (1 x 9) but winter ready with mudguards and decent tubeless wheels on.

Those Merlin bikes have FSA cranksets, my 105 crank arm 4iiii won't fit.
I think I've found what I need though - a Scott Speedster Gravel 20, £1000, full tiagra albeit mechanical disks.

Whyte Glencoe is lovely. No toe overlap, long top tube, n/w clutch rear mech. But pricey at 1300 snots but v. Nice to ride
The latter one is limited on sizes, I need large. I just think the Merlin bikes look a little cheap/gash. But in reality its Deda vs Synchs kit I guess, I can't help thinking the Scott frame may be better somehow.
