I will be driving Lowey + weester he is so happy at the 9:30 start Ton good man!

I was wondering whether we should take some spares with us given Tom's wheel incident and my brake and Grants tyre and...well you know.
rather than usual 35 sets of mini tools and pumps we all take a bike bit?
You know someone brings a rear mech , someone a chain whip + cassette tool , somoen a folded tyre etc. Am I being overly worried?

I'll bring half a dozen baseball bats and some gaffer tape.

If I feel less dodgy, then I'll be there with my little piggie.

The weather is actually looking alright according to Metcheck, dry and might even be sunny. Bit windy though but nowhere near as bad as tomorrow which looks horrendous. That said Metcheck seem to change the forecast every few hours 🙄

sram dunno if it was the mech or chain but hes running an 8spd setup new chain cables casset etc... but the mech was very slack and cought in the casset that screw was fully wound in (one that makes the mech pushaway from the frame) but it still got cought in it its quite hard to exsplain as i wasnt there...

I'll lend you the Roscoe if I'm coming. Still not sure yet, have had a dicky tummy all week and having had 24 hours without food, I need to wait to see how it all comes out, if you get my drift - so won't be making a decision on attendance until last minute. Mrs NBT has baked a few scones and is packing everything on the assumption that we will be going, I'm holding off until I'm certain, last thing I want is to be caught on the middle of a godforsken moor when my guts decide that I'm not well after all....

keep all the excuses coming .....funny lol

im not riding because my rear tyre has only 38 psi in it. my brakes pads are 80% worn & there maybe more than one mucky puddle...unbelieveable.

i used to ride bikes as a kid with one brake a dodgy one at that.

and to think i was just setting off to join you lot...ill see you in hebden coming the other way on my own.

have a good ride the ones who are going

Oh and the mini track pump was mine, it's a topeak mountain morph.
