Tony, is it that carpark pictured on the other thread we are all meeting?
I'm in. Where are we meeting?
Just gone to put my bike in the car and it's leaking brake fluid from the rear caliper, so I'm not going to make it after all. ๐
hi,
bit late but does anybody have a bike my brother could borrow for tomorrow? as hes just got his working this afternoon and just got back with it fing and blinding and a sh@gged rear mech....
tom
I can lend him a rear mech +shifter but if he rides like you then NO ๐
Shimano or SRAM?
sram dunno if it was the mech or chain but hes running an 8spd setup new chain cables casset etc... but the mech was very slack and cought in the casset that screw was fully wound in (one that makes the mech pushaway from the frame) but it still got cought in it its quite hard to exsplain as i wasnt there...
**** me, they are dropping like flies........... ๐
i might not be there cos i am fat........... ๐
ok will bring one off to check I can find it
i might not be there cos i am fat

Kramer - MemberJust gone to put my bike in the car and it's leaking brake fluid from the rear caliper, so I'm not going to make it after all.
I'll lend you the Roscoe if I'm coming. Still not sure yet, have had a dicky tummy all week and having had 24 hours without food, I need to wait to see how it all comes out, if you get my drift - so won't be making a decision on attendance until last minute. Mrs NBT has baked a few scones and is packing everything on the assumption that we will be going, I'm holding off until I'm certain, last thing I want is to be caught on the middle of a godforsken moor when my guts decide that I'm not well after all....
This is the Official Soft Southern Shandy Drinkers Meet - the real event is the Tweed Valley Meet. ๐
george, no it is not...
the official hard ba5tards weekend is the 4th/5th of december gt/inners weekend... ๐
I suspect that the weather for that one might be a bit kinder than it is for this weekend.
Have a good one, may see you lot as setting off from The Causeway Foot at 8.30 (need to be back before 13.00)
BBC says sunny and 10 mph it is windy everywhere today as I am about 60 miles away and it is very windy here
Will bring a X7 with me just in case.
cheers for the lights matt there proving to be very usefull riding back home in the pitch black at 7pm! used them everyday this week ๐
Right, fixed it I hope, count me in again.
keep all the excuses coming .....funny lol
im not riding because my rear tyre has only 38 psi in it. my brakes pads are 80% worn & there maybe more than one mucky puddle...unbelieveable.
i used to ride bikes as a kid with one brake a dodgy one at that.
