I'm just starting to service my fork lower legs, not done these ones before and the rebound adjuster is stuck fast. They've been a bit stiff on others, but this one is like it's welded and it won't rotate more than 180 degrees either. Reba TK's if that makes any difference.
Have tried pliers and a rag to stop scratching it too much, not even a bit of movement. Anyone got any ideas? Ta.
Thicker rag and bigger pair of mole grips or soak it with penetrating spray for a couple of days. Mine was oxidised in place and it took a fair old gritted teeth and crossed fingers that I didnt shear it off.
Just one thought though-are you at either end of the adjustment scale hence no movement?
Hmm, forks are only a few months old so don't think this SHOULD be the case, but will try it. I do run it towards the faster end of the rebound adjustment, but did try it the other way as well just to be sure. Ta.
Had to unscrew the it, with the foot nut attached out of the fork in the end. Even putting a steel nut on the thread, gripping that with a pair of mole grips and hitting the little allen key stub wouldn't move it! 👿
So now I need a new one. 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿
