I've had my eye on cycling the Albrecht Route Garmisch to Lake Garda for a few years now, but I am struggling with logistics, especially, the issue of storing a bike box. Plan is to fly into Munich or Innsbruck and then catch the train back to either of those two airports for the flight home.
Has anyone stored a bike box at either of these places? On longer trips I would just source a cardboard box, but I have on a couple of occasions struggled to find one and find it all a bit too stressful.

When I did a tour around Mt Blanc, we paid the gite we stayed in on the first night to look after our bike bags. I think it was about EUR20 or so.
They stashed them in a barn somewhere and brought them back when we returned.
