I'm lusting for a polished then clearcoated raw steel frame ala BTR, but I hear it's hard to make the clearcoat stick, it's not as robust as a normal paintjob.
Plenty of nice steel frames to be had for cheap, e.g. Ragley blue pig or Stanton Switchbacks, but would they look good and would it last? Not a fan of very dull grey, needs to be a bit shiny!
