I want to compare times over a 5 mile loop I rode today. How do I save the ride as a route? How do I name it? I want to be able to ride past the start with Strava on my IPhone and it automatically records that ride so I can compare times.....please keep the replies simple....ta
I would just save it as a segment.
Open today's ride on the desktop version of Strava. Create a be segment for the 5mile bit that you want. Set it as a private or public segment.
Now whenever you ride said route it will pick the segment up and you will see it in your results. You will then be able to see all previous times that you did this exact same segment allowing you to compare.
Thanks. I have managed to find that bit. The segment start is in the right bit but I cannot make the end point move, as currently it's half way round the lap. I've tried the arrows and dragging the red dot....
OK I managed that and pressed next and next but it brought up someone else's lap with different start and finish points....I'd like to save mine as I start the lap at the nearest point to home...
You name yours and then select ignore the rest and create my segment
save as a route.
but also, break parts into segments, or add where they dont exist.
there may be issues with long segments.. read this
Thanks guy. I've set it up as a segment.......
