Am doing a bit of work on a mates bike that's been less the loved up until now. Anyways i've noticed his rear derailleur cage has a slight twist in it which is making the it impossible to get the indexing right. In the passed I've seen mention, on here, of people straightening crooked X9 derailleur cages. Just wondering is there a standard way to do this? Or is just a case of do it gently so as not to do any more damage in the process.
Thanks

I just grabbed mine and twisted it, and not particularly gently, wouldn't want to do it to someone else's though!
