Thanks guys, just been to the local bobby's to report it and I think they were a bit confused when I told em it was a mountain bike but only had one gear. So hopefully yeah the tango orange will be nice and easy to spot, absolutely gutted tho!! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

****ers!!

Hopefully they'll bring it back when they realise there's a problem with the gears!

Joking aside, it looks sweet and I hope you get it back.

Fellow Single Speeder (amongst other things)

Hope you get it back pal. Feeling your pain. I've got an orange SS but mine has gears. I singlespeeded my RAW one. How did you find it as a singlespeed bike?

DeVs, the bike was so much fun, even after only 4 rides I'm gonna miss riding it. Wide bars, short stem, long travel, big smiles. Never had it with gears on so can't compare but one thing I did notice about singlespeeding is the quietness of it all (apart from my lungs haha). I'd defo recommend trying it if your thinking about it.

I've single speeded one of my Summer Seasons but I've never ridden another SS and wondered if it was a good bike for it. Don't get me wrong I love it but there are times when I wonder if it would be easier on another bike. The techy ups come to mind. It's probably the 32:16 but I wonder if the slackness makes it less ideal than say a regular inbred? No word from the rozzers on getting it back yet then?

Yeah I'm not sure how it would be on really techy stuff, only got to take her to Sherwood pines and Thetford - not exactly techy climbs at either haha.

You must be pshychic DeVs, had a phone call outta the blue last night from the police, said they'd recovered a load of stuff that they wanted me to ID, defo my stuff but the only things recovered were the wheels, without discs and centrelock adaptors but with a manky, worn 8spd cassette fitted ๐Ÿ˜• My 1st aid kit, empty. Allen keys and Torx keys, my saddle, one grip minus lock on collars and cranks minus locking bolts. No word on the rest of the gear ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

From what I could gather over the police radio the ****er 'works' as a window cleaner and lives in a block of flats in town, so is local to Lincoln. So if you live in or around Lincoln - I'd clean your own windows this summer ๐Ÿ˜‰

Gutted for you. Hope the insurance claim is nice and quick ๐Ÿ™‚

Keep an eye out on Gumtree as that's where most of the nicked bikes tend to end up.

'works' as a window cleaner

A taxi firm got raided and folk arrested for being part of a huge burglary ring when I was at uni in nottingham. When a driver picked up 4 people from what they knew to be a 4 bedroom house they tipped off their theiving scum mates and hey presto, no more laptops :-/ Think a few got sent down for it though, which is nice ๐Ÿ™‚
