I have a 10spd rival rear mech on my road bike and despite lots of oiling it still keeps sticking when im downshifting, requiring a rear wheel bump or a light heel tap to drop down. This is with loose cable. Has anyone got any idea if this is common or fixable?

Cable outer especialy that last bit before the mech being dirty corroded would be 1st thing i checked then condition of jockey wheels. If those things and indexing are good the return spring could be dead.
