Snowdon itself down the Ranger path isnwuite rocky and technical -
Although not outrageously steep.

At Antur Stiniog I rode a couple of blacks and patches of them were very technical with drops / small cliffs etc. I’d imagine the double blacks to be very hard.

Dyfi Bike Park has black / double black / triple black trails so I’m guessing that’s going to be difficult riding. Same with Revs.

Rhyd Ddu path down Snowdon if you want techy. (Legitimate, subject to voluntary ban on daytime riding.)

Although the top bit of Rhyd Ddu is basically unrideable across a ridge. After that it looks really techy- but is it too techy to be fun?

It would be for me (mincer), but the OP asked for techy 🙂

I've never attempted to ride it, btw.

This is a decent video, but you might want to mute the awful music:

BTW, I wouldn't describe the Ranger's path as particularly techy, apart from a short-ish, rocky section where it levels out after the main descent.

I’d say a lot of people would find the ranger path quite techy personally - the top bit has steps and loads of rocks sticking out at awkward angles, then there’s a flat ish part, then there’s a big chunk of slow rock rolling through some quite difficult terrain, before it smooths out again. I found that harder going than a lot of Antur Stiniog the previous day. Admittedly Snowdon isn’t steep though.
