Unfortunately, I've gone and snapped the tarty gold titanium spindles (Taiwanese) that were fitted to my egg beaters at the weekend. I'm looking for some way to get tarty gold spindles that won't snap, cause they look sic as, bro'.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Is it possible to get steel spindles, such as these, ti-nitrided, easily?

Or am I better off pi$$ing about with some sort of nail polish.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

You can get things annodised almost any colour you want. Years ago I used to get aluminium bits annodised for a few quid somewhere in Milton Keynes. Not too expensive, but in the case of spindle, which will break again, get scratched up etc Id say your wasting money.

Not sure about ti-nitriding - that is less common and will be more expensive.

But it can be said for the purposes of Bling / Tartyness, rational thoughts about value for money are pointless.

Can't anodise steel, so its either a proper TiN coating, or you need some more ti spindles.
