Finally got both done on 321 rims. Just incase anyone ever searches for this combo and wonders what the trick is...:
- Use *lots* of *really* soapy water
- After fitting the tyres which will be very tight make sure you lift the tyre bead on both sides so the soapy water can get under them.
- Push the tyre into the floor with the valve at the bottom most part whilst pumping with the other hand, this seems to give it a hand getting going
Just fitted exactly that combo. Install tyre, inflate, job done.
You didn't want to hear that, did you? 😉
The second one I did was a piece of the proverbial. However I've filed it under 'black art'.
