Reposting this here as realised it was a bit of a side issue to the previous Stan's thread ...
"Can anyone tell me if the´"ghetto" method will work on a non-ust rim (Crossride) with a non-ust tyre (Conti MK)?" ie, with 20" tube (schrader?) and stan's sealant?

Ghetto will work fine in your scenario. If it is a removal valve core you are after rather than a particular preference for schrader valves, you can use Schwalbe presta tubes.

Difficult to tell how easy it will be to inflate with any particular rim/tyre combo but yup it should work.

I have ghetto'd Race King 2.0 and Speed King 2.1 & 2.3 on Mavic 317s and they have worked very well. Did use a compressor for inflation.
