Looking to convert some Crest rims to tubeless. Anybody know if roval tape is right width for these rims. Just seems as though you get twice as much tape for money. Any other successes using any else too. Tips appreciated. Hoping to use some conti x king race sport non ust tyres.
The Roval tape is crap compared to the Stan's stuff. Much thinner, weaker and more likely to be damaged.
Just get the proper stuff and do the job right
Yep, I use roval tape in crests, one roll has done 4 29er rims and I recon I have enough left to do 4 more.
I used some packing tape from ebay in mine. £2.99 for lots of wheels worth.

Not in mine. It's noticably thinner and definitely not as good.

Sure i've read somewhere that electrical tape will do the job and apparently the stans stuff is made by tesa tapes 4289 but wouldn't have a clue where to get it cut down to right width.
Featherlight condoms are thinner but much better IME
