Do you find the bottom guide/roller thingy makes a god awful racket?
It's definitely the bottom one as I took it off and it then it stopped (might keep it like that for trail centres tbh)
Was wondering about trying to pack it with grease, but I reckon it's the chain moving over the teeth as it's louder with worse chain line - any ideas on silencing it?
is it a plastic jockey wheel? E-13 use rubber, so if you can fit one in that could do the job
Yep it's hard plastic. Might see if I can get hold of a rubber wheel, whats the bets they will use the same size bolt...
You got it spaced correctly so jockey wheel is bang inline with chainring?
Mine is pretty quiet.
It looks right, theres pretty much no drag just a lot of noise many when I'm in the bigs cog on the cassette. I did have to put an extra 1mm spacer on the BB to get the granny tabs to clear the baseplate without catching. ?Maybe that extra mm makes it noisier?
