[#381951]

I'm thinking of building a tough cheap(ish) SS commuter with an On-One 29er Inbred frame and using my 700cc wheels (Open Pro's).

Could this work?
Will it handle like a paranoid bungalow,?
Or would I be better sticking 700cc wheels on a standard Inbred frame like that "Scandal 2 wheelset" Deal On-One were doing a while back?

SHould be fine, 29er is just a 700c rim with a big tyre anyway. The bb will drop a bit, but I don't think they start out too low anyway.

I'd go for whichever frame you can get for less cash.

If it is for commuting why not put those 700c wheels on a road frame. Might make more sense if it is just for tarmac?

Or look at a Pompino frame?

I've currently ride an XL Pompino frame and it feels like I'm riding a garden gate (I'm 185cm /just over 6ft).

I could go a size smaller but the pot-holes on my commute to work are ridiculous it's like riding on the moon so I need something a bit more stable, thats why I'm thinking MTB frame.
