What's the difference between the x7 and s1400 cranks? I'm after some new cranks for a bb92 bottom bracket. [url= http://www.sram.com/sram/mountain/family/x7 ]sram link[/url]

Your link tells me that the s1400s are 2x10 and the x7 are 3x10. Also states that the s1400 is BB30 or PF30 BB standard, is PF30 the same as bb92| (why oh why did they have to introduce all these standards!).
I have the s1400 and like most cranks they do the job, the spread between the rings is a bit wide though.

You seem to be able to buy bb30 or gxp, no mention of pf30 / bb92 on the main seller's web site, hmmm
