So Im building up a bike and got some sram X7 shifters, and very nice they seem to.
They've got no bar mounts/clamps though. Looking on the web, the bar mount is £20 a piece.
Rather than paying that much I'll probably go down the matchmaker route, it'll be handy for dropper post at least as brakes will be Shimano.
Has anyone been in the same position and came up with any other solutions or cheaper mounts?
SRAM standard shifter clamps are £10 if you look in the right place. Rosebikes.co.uk for example. Matchmaker clamp definitely useful for a Reverb, but you're only going to end up with a single clamp if you use SRAM guide brakes, which are flipping good btw.
Thanks for the tip on Rosebikes, first I'll check out the SRAM guides though, I know i didnt really want Avids but for some reason never give guides any consideration.
Just noticed on the on-one website they are selling SRAM matchmaker clamps for £6.99!!
