[Closed] Sram chain.....have they all got power links when new?

As above, I just havent noticed one and was just told they have them on as standard?

If it's come fitted to a bike it may not have, but an aftermarket chain should definitely include one.

Im pretty sure the answer will be 'yes' but will it still have a powerlink if bike purchased with a chain on, ie not a boxed chain?

And for TJ's benefit, the instructions (the WHAT!?!) they come with show both the chain tool/pin-removal method and the powerlink method ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm sure CRC sold some OEM ones a while back that just had pin joining rather than power link - the description made a point of mentioning it.

The original SRAM chain on my bike didn't have one.

The only thing I noticed last night whencleaning chain was a different pin to the rest of them (larger and black), will look for power link tonight.

if no power link on chain do many people bother to split chain and put one on?

I bought a couple of SRAM chains from CRC recently that said they did not contain power-links, but they did.
