PC830, 850 or 870.
Any reason not to get a 870 if its a fair price or will the dirt cheap 830 be exactly the same?

the chains are all the same strength, the more expensive ones weigh less

PC830 lasts about half as long as an 850 in my experience. But I didn't think the 870 was worth the extra money.
I usually get 850's from J E James. They do mail order if you're not near their shops. About £10 each inc powerlink but no packaging.

850 is £11.50 so for 50p more got a 870.
