It appears that the spring has gone in my XT front mech.
Is this something that can be fixed or is it a case of throwing away and buying a new one?
Only had it 3 months (bought from this very site) so bit gutted if its shagged.

prob just dislodged from the hook that holds it in place.
It's a bit of a "stab yourself in the hand with a screwdriver" job but can be put back
