Cosmetic? 😯

I mean, I've seen worse, but that's just dishonest, describing it as simply 'cosmetic'. That's something that could well lead to serious failure, and I'm no engineer or member of the Institute of Physics. 😆

I'd want to see it in person first, but I'd probably ride that, especially if it was cheap enough.
Had several frames with worse dents that have never caused a problem.

got a much worse dent in my road bike top tube an that has been fine for the last 6 years.
MTB would see more punishment but it is more than superficial and he could have got a decent photo of it if they had tried.

That'll polish out Ya big bunch of jessies.

Could be worth a punt for the Gates bits, but not for £65...

I think his wording is a little on the "stretching the truth" side of things i know i wouldn't trust it as i like to push my bikes hard so the question's are.

1. How much is a new down tube gonna cost fitted and paint job?

2. Whats the lowest this guys gonna let it go for?

3. Would it be cheaper to buy a new one in the end?

Whats people's thoughts

on their site, the only one that looks the same as that is a 29er. the one on ebay doesn't look to me like a 29er, but out of context i could be wrong!

edit, my point being that i'm not sure whether you could get a new one if you wanted to, unless it was a custom job.

i see this didn't go, though got bids around £75. I was going to put in a low speculative bid on saturday but forgot, wouldn't have won anyway.

wonder if the guy will go again with a lower reserve?
