Could you kindly recommend me some to make my work days pass quickly...not radio 4 ones as I already download most of them...my current favs are kitchen cabinet, food programme, desert island discs, drama of the week, digital human and.....the archers omnibus (waits for ribbing)
The Moth can be quite good. Occasionally gets a bit overly sincere and American at times.
The news from lake wobegon great also.
Its another r4 but 'in our time' with Melvyn Bragg. A really eclectic mix of topics, some of which have no interest to me, some which are very interesting, and some which I've given a go to and found really fascinating. Broaden your mind and appear dead smart to all your friends.

RHLSTP, as some of the cool people are starting to call it....
Sick and Wrong is really funny, second also Mayo/Kermode.
Clips of the Week from Hawskbee & Jacobs on TalkSport is a good ten minutes.

If you like RHLSTP then you'd probably also like Robin and Josie's Utter Shambles
Bit of a guilty pleasure which brings back childhood memories but the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast can be interesting depending on the guest. It's odd listening to old WWF wrestlers talk about their former careers and how they were all alcoholics or stoners and what went on.
Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Old Adam & Joe 6 Music shows
Football Weekly from the Guardian
nowt wrong with the Archers
Velo Club Don Logan is pretty good, like the Velocast but every three weeks and with less miserable rants*

Radio Romance is fantastic. Was a permanent fixture in the car for many years, back in the days when we had a cassette player.
Greg Proops does a couple of podcasts which are very good. Fighting talk is good if you like sport and comedy. 5 Live spots specials are good as are Danny Kellys My Sporting Heroes.
