Had a loose spoke today, when I tried to tighten it I couldn't - the spoke has pulled out of the rim and knackered the thread on the rim. Anyone else had this problem? Are they repairable or am I looking at serious mony?

I had something similar happen on a Crossmax SLR - spoke wouldn't loosen, broke off with some left behind in the thread. Tried to mend it, ruined it, new wheel. Hope you have better luck!

Mavic wheelsets do that. IMO the best you can do is sell it for spares or repair (or use your bits to renovate another crossmax wheelset that you pick up for spares or repair).
