Whats the puncture protection like for specialized tracers? They look perfect as an all round cx, commute, paths, urban.
The contis look good but worried the center tread will not have much traction if wet or mud.
I love scwalble smart sams...but puncture proof is rubbish.
I can only fit 35 to 36mm
I use the conti travel contact. I would say they are a 75% road tyre 25% offroad. Good on gravel and wet roads / wet gravel but not much cop in mud ( but still sort of work 'cos as you slide you go on to the knobbly shoulder and get grip again). However they are great on the road. Sticky rubber with loads of grip, not draggy and puncture protection is brilliant. I took a dozen bits of glass out of my commuters rear tyre but none had gone right thru.
