Picked up a second hand Specialized Hotrock 24 for my boy... In need of some serious tlc, mostly with the forks which are fubar. It comes with Suntour cheapy and heavy forks which i (at 80kg +) can't move. Serviced, greased, and still bobbins.

Looking to replace them, preferably with a rigid fork. Anyone know where I can source some 24" forks, 1 1/8th headset with v-brake studs? My ebay and Google searches are coming up a blank at the moment.

An eBay search of rigid forks gives the third result as 24" dmr forks? There's loads on eBay. Try a wanted ad or your local friendly bike shop otherwise.

A 1 1/8th headset is available everywhere. The richey ones for around 10-15 quid are decent I like them for cheap/kids bikes.
