Normally just wear sunnies this weather but they're not ideal in shaded areas plus I've lost them so looking at replacements.

Do these adaptalite lenses actually work in terms of adjusting to light levels?

Spesh glasses discounted here at Hargroves - which ones are recommended?

http://www.hargrovescycles.co.uk/products.asp?subcategory=Sunglasses+Sale&category=Protection&gclid=CP-IjeeAtqICFVls4wod5mcZ6A

would think the ones with big section out of the corner of the eye would be annoying - are they?

You don't notice the adaptalite working until you take them off and realise the sun is blarringly bright!

Singletracks were amazing, the right tint for off-roading, brings out the browns n greens very well.

I lost mine in Exmoor. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

i got some recently. don't think i really notice them working, but i'm sure they do.

make me look like a bit of a robot though, so have to take them off when not wearing a helmet.

fog clears VERY well in mine.

happy with them ๐Ÿ™‚

singletracksurfer - make sure you get some with the yellow tint - the red ones are a roadie version.

Yes, the red ones are a bit heavily tinted for mtb use, start of fine, then you dip into the woods and even at their lightest they're a bit dark.

I stick with clear lenses for mtb.

Yes, brilliant. I think the fact that you don't notice them working means they work well. If you see what I mean...
I considered going back to cheapo swap-the-lens glasses after breaking my last pair, but I just couldn't do it. They're too nice...

I had both, used to use the road ones on the MTB a lot, absolutely fine in summer when the light was a bit brighter, could occasionally be problematic in winter, but not that bad.

The MTB ones are good, but the fit's not great and the lenses aren't very tough IME.
